Mission: Provides youth, ages 14-21, skill training, housing assistance, growth and development opportunities through educational, employment and community resources.

Goal: To encourage and support the development of our client’s potential, assisting them in discovering, developing and sharpening their skills and talents while learning new ones.

We are here to help guide and assist youth in making life decisions but is the client who decides how they want to live their life.

The Inn’s Independent Living program located in Clackamas County is a community based program that is committed to helping foster youth make a safe and healthy transition into adulthood. Our program provides services to foster youth, ages 14 – 21, with skills and training to prepare their transition from foster care into independent living. ILP Clackamas RopesDirections...preparing for their future. Directions serves youth between the ages of 14 and 16 who are in the 10th grade or younger. Here we assist youth in building a foundation for successful transition into adulthood. Key topics include job readiness, self-exploration, the basics of building relationships, meal planning, cooking and cleaning. We also help them build connections in their community through volunteering and community events.

Expressway…assists current and former foster youth in their transition from foster care. Clients are normally between the ages of 16 and 18 who have not graduated from high school or received a GED. We equip Expressway youth with life skills to make in on their own. Life skills include job search, career explorations, setting educational goals, funding higher education, budgeting and housing options once they
leave care. We also assist our clients in defining and developing positive, healthy relationships.

ILP Clackamas RaftingLifestyles...assists current and former foster youth in the transition into young adulthood. Our clients are generally between 18 and 21 and have completed their high school education. Our focus with these young adults is to assist in achieving education and career goals, maintaining employment, how to obtain and maintain housing and how to create and live within a real working budget.
